ITV’s new international fly-on-the-wall documentary, ‘Models, Misfits and Mayhem’, picks eight of Harry’s tracks to be played throughout the five episode series. The critically acclaimed show is due to be aired worldwide later in 2012.

BBC 2 – The Fisherman’s Apprentice

Harry has been chosen to compose the music for a new documentary for BBC 2 called The Fisherman’s Apprentice with Monty Halls. The program follows marine biologist, Monty Halls in Cadgwith, a small fishing village on the Cornish coast, as he sets out to learn all he can about the highs and lows of coastal fishing in England. The 6 x 1 hour documentary is currently in production by BAFTA award-winning production company, Indus Films. It is due to be aired on BBC 2 on February 29th 2012 at 8pm and will run for six weeks.

Piano Worlds

Picture Lock Music, the UK’s fastest growing music library has asked Harry to compose an album of piano and orchestral pieces, entitled Piano Worlds. This hugely cinematic album of twelve tracks will be a featured album on Picture Lock’s website and can be heard here.

AKM Music – Library album

AKM Music asked Harry to co-write four tracks for a daytime TV album they have recently produced. The album, lead by fellow composer Lee Gretton, featured all types of music for daytime television including acoustic pop/rock, electronica and drum ‘n bass.

Short Film Score – Dorpsheld (Village Hero)

Harry was recently commissioned by New Zealand based film production company, Red Rose Productions, to compose the score to their latest short film, Dorpsheld (Village Hero.) The film, set in World War 2, follows a young boy who is taken in by a Nazi Officer and is caught stealing from him.

Here’s what the director said:

“The music that Harry has created for “Dorpsheld”, has complemented the film perfectly. It has powerfully delivered emotion, created suspense and accurately captured the essence that this wartime film is all about. this work is a true masterpiece and i cannot wait to see next, what Mr. Harry Lightfoot has to offer!!”

The film is set for general release on November 9th 2011.

Composing ‘The Final Score’

The Final Score, created and produced by Inverleigh Media, is a sports based news program. The show covers news stories from all around the world, and sports from football to the downright weird!

For this project, Inverleigh needed music for the main title sequence and beds, stings and incidental music within the show.

The program will be aired worldwide later this year and over 70 episodes will be made initially.

Composing ‘The Football Review’

This is a new magazine program covering all news in the world of football. Produced by Inverleigh Media, this show is due to be aired worldwide in late 2011. They approached Harry to compose music for the main titles for the series as well as all the stings, beds and incidentals within the show.

Recording Session At Angel Studios

Music library, Sonic Quiver produced an album with composer Matthew Slater of modern Nu-Jazz pieces. The session at Angel Studios featured the London Media Orchestra and freelance jazz soloists. Harry was hired to play tenor sax.

On Tour – Le Mans 2011

The Paris 1940s travelled two hours south west of Paris to play on the Aston Martin stage at Le Mans 2011. They played to hundreds of racing fans and festival goers and in spite of inconsistent weather, the crowd showed their appreciation and The Paris 1940s ended up playing 3 times over the course of the weekend!

Composing ‘Spirit Of London’

In the run up to the London Olympics in 2012, Inverleigh Media have created a television series called Spirit Of London. The program covers everything that is involved in the Olympics. From preparations of the stadiums and building developments, to news about the olympic sports and international teams. Inverleigh approached Harry to compose music for the title sequence of the show as well as beds, stings and themes throughout the series. The series is due to be aired late 2011.
